Christopher Thomas Howell is an American actor and director. He was born on December 7, 1966 in Van Nuys, California.
Howell became known for playing Ponyboy Curtis in The Outsiders (1983), Robert Morris in Red Dawn (1984), Michael Ryan in Secret Admirer (1985), Jim Halsey in The Hitcher (1986), Mark Watson in Soul Man (1986), and Bubber Drums in A Tiger's Tale (1986). He has since then appeared in more that a hundert cinema films.
